Trauma therapy for those who protect and serve
At Valor Trauma Therapy, we provide specialized care for those who’ve faced the unimaginable. Whether you’re a veteran, a first responder, or a civilian impacted by trauma, our mission is simple: to walk with you through the healing process with evidence-based treatment, real-world experience, and deep respect for what you’ve been through.
Built on Experience. Driven by Purpose.
Valor Trauma Therapy was founded by Jeff Eastman, LMHC — a licensed mental health counselor and veteran who has spent his career helping individuals process trauma, reclaim their sense of safety, and rebuild meaning after life-altering events. Jeff draws from years of service with the VA, where he provided trauma therapy exclusively to combat veterans, and from his own personal journey through the impacts of trauma.
This isn’t just a practice. It’s a calling.

How We Help
We use an evidence-based approach called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients:
-
Understand how trauma has shaped their thoughts
-
Untangle guilt, shame, and “stuck” beliefs
-
Regain control over their lives and relationships
All therapy is provided via secure telehealth, and Jeff is licensed in California, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Texas
Why “Valor”?
Because healing takes courage. And because those who’ve carried the weight for others deserve someone who can carry the weight with them.
